Could someone help me locate it -- i.e., refer to date/title? Thanks.
I have worked my way to some degree of familiarity with the fretboard, so
I can play most four-note chords with the lowest note on the fifth and
sixth strings. At this point, it would be useful to try and build up
speed and try to learn how to voice-lead on some tunes. How does the Herb
Wong fakebook compare with the new Sher books? Marc Sabatella's biblio
doesn't say much about it from what I recall. If I have to commit my
meagre finances to a fakebook, what would be the best choice? I've been
told that a fair amount of space on the Sher books is taken up by
"non-jazz" stuff. Any suggetions would be most welcome.
Cheers,
Srinandan
