Hi again, thanks for all the great work on `But Beautiful.' I now
understand what my ears heard much better. Actually this discussion on
bar IV now makes me like the sound | C#m7b5 Cm6 | leading to the Gmaj 7
in bar V. And in view of the backdoor dominant this now makes a good
argument for my original post | Cmi7 F7 | leading to the Gmaj7.
One last detail: with a bass player taking the root, you can get nice
voice leading in measure V by playing the | Bmi7 C7#11 |.
