I've been checking this discussion group out for quite some time and
find it very interesting and have learned a great deal from it. I'm
just getting ready to write a new chart of Satin Doll, for 3-horns
(Trumpet, Tenor Sax, Trombone), rhythm section, and female vocalist.
I'm looking for some suggestions of typical keys (for a female
vocalist), some changes, and also any recommended recordings of this
jazz standard (featuring a female vocalist).
