I know this thread has probably been covered before, so if indeed it
has, sorry to waste bandwidth...But, as I have seriously gotten into
transcribing this past summer, I am unclear on one thing..That being what do
you do after you've completed the solo and are able to play it with the
recording? I heard so many different things, ie. do nothing or analyze it
theoretically or take "licks" you like and transpose them, etc. Maybe this
is a rhetorical question, I don't know, but I get the impression that
there's a whole bunch of expert and veteran transcribers on this list, and
any and all advice would be appreciated. TIA!!!!!!!!!
