Bob: just for the record, G. F. Mlely is not a Tristano "disciple." He
studied with him, was early on influenced by his playing, admires his
work (especially for imparting a discipline to jazz learning).
Mlely is very much his own musical identity - in his playing and in his
teaching methods. Take a look at our web site sometime.
