Hey great! The oboe does work pretty well; I've heard it on Cecil Taylor's
Unit Structures album, but I don't reccommend the album unless you *REALLY*
have a pre-disposition to the avant-garde. I fancy myself to have a musical
high tolerance, but this album is very difficult.

I came up with about the same thing... There are a number of non-quartal
chords which can be voiced almost entirely in fourths, giving them the
modern sound.

Currently, I'd say we're going to have to get used to the
closed-mindedness of some. My saxophonist has been bugging me to switch to
the Acoustic for some time now. I quite like the Acoustic, but maybe I
won't learn it out of spite. :)
