Great idea! Have you figured out some way of adding tempo information ? (the
posting about the eastern karaoke method provides a way, but then you would
have to write on several text lines, which for e-mail could be a problem at
reception)
I guess you're right about the copyright not being infringed because you
omit note duration, so you're not actually sending the complete copyrighted
tune.
This could be a way of comparing small transcriptions, if one has the
patience to write it this way (and to read it as well). We could at least
insert vertical bars on each measure separation, to synchronise the melody
with the chords.
