A very good book. I've read the whole book once parts of it several
times. In addition to the strictly musical content, the chapters on
band member interaction are also very good. It's good to see that the
problems your band has are not unique and to see the way that other
players have dealt with the same problems. There's also some good
stuff on motivic development, another thread around here lately.
