I have e-mailed Bert a manuscript for the melody to "Confirmation"
for his study.

Unfortunately, I've decided to not make it generally available
to the discussion list.

The reason is that I'm concerned about copyright rules and don't
want to start posting finished manuscripts like one would find
in say "The New Real Book" (which Chuck Sher pays royalties to
Charlie Parkers Estate or whomever the copyright holder is).

I posted the first chorus to Parkers solo to demonstrate a point
I was making at the time regarding soloing (it was not really
a transcription discussion though I mentioned the innacuracy
of Omnibook transcription).

When I have posted solo transcriptions I avoid posting the whole
manuscript for similar reasons.

For those that want to see the first solo chorus and don't
still have the URL, check out http://www.justjazz.com/charliefrag.pdf

Hopefully Bert will report on his study to the group at some
later date.
