I received the file. I will be out of town for a few days, so don't look
for a post real soon. What I am considering is some way of comparing three
different transcriptions of the same material - Reed's, mine and the
Omnibook version. The idea will NOT be to prove someone right or wrong, but
more of a comparsion of choices made when notating. For instance: are the
turns, mordents and trills written out or notation with some other symbol?
what choices were made regarding accidentals (C# or Db, etc.) and how does
that change reading or perception of the tune? a short note on the upbeat
of one, is it notated as a short quarter note or an eight note followed by
an eighth rest? how are grace notes notated? In places where human feel of
time is difficult to notate, what choices were made for rhythmic notation?
Then maybe some discussion where the actual notes are completely different.

Thanks Reed,
