A Heartwarming Story (or two?)

I 've just returned home from a few days business travel. While I was away my
wife bought me a present which I'd like to share with the list. Somewhere she
saw a blurb or TV interview or whatever about a guy who began to learn to
play the piano at the age of 52! He has written a book about it and yes, my
wife's present to me is that book.

Well I have only scanned it but it appears to be a heartwarming story. The
title is "Piano Lessons". The author is Noah Adams, host of National Public
Radio's _All Things Considered_. Here are a few quotes from the cover:
- Piano Lessons will make you a believer in the quest to find and make music
and will have you falling back in love with you own dreams, whatever they may
be." --John Hockenberry, ABC News correspondent

- "There's been a secret, hiding in my heart about this piano-learning
endeavor. Perhaps I do have talent and no one knows. ..." from _Piano
Lessons_

The second heartwarming story (see subject of this message), is that when I
returned home from a short business trip, waiting for me was such a sweet
present from my wife.

Hmmmm, maybe I will take up piano...
