Sure.
A good book that I've been using as a sheet music source for
a lot of recent posts is "Jazz Showstoppers" by CPP Belwin F2953SMX .
Of course more obscure tunes like "You Must Believe in Spring" by
Michelle Legrand or "See Saw" by Sy Coleman are going to be just found in a
book for that composer alone.
Some composers like Jimmy Van Heusen or Victor Young don't have collection
books out yet so unless you can find it in a more general collection,
you have to order the single sheet music.
But Berry, you live in my neck of the woods and their are so many places
that have this sheet music and know alot more than just what Perl
Jam us. Try "Music Music Music" in Santa Clara,
"World of Music" in Cupertino, "Byron Hoyt" in SF, "Melody Lane" in
Palo Alto.
You need to get to know your local music stores.
BTW, Byron Hoyt is a large band/choral music distributor and
is used to shipping everywhere (I think Music, Music,
Music does too and they are alot nicer to deal with).
Music, Music, Music (408)985-9677
World of Music (408)252-8264
Byron Hoyt (415)431-8055
When I have some time, I'll try and negotiate a discussion list discount
with one of these stores.
At one point I discussed possibly setting up an order mechanism with
one of the stores through the website but I barely have been able to
keep up with the web site as it is.
