Great post! I've used dim7 chords to build dom7 chords for some time
but it hadn't occurred to me to use dim7 chords to build m7, M7 and
m7b5 chords. I'm gonna work on that for a while.
It occurs to me that conversely you can sharp the roots of dom7 chords
to come up with different dim7 voicings.
Now please tell us about Pat's use of augmented chords...
