I'm not that familiar with Jack. I've met him once at a seminar here in
Austin, but most of what I know about him was through students of his
from the 1970s at North Texas State. I know four guys who went through
Jack's program there. One of them told me that Jack's teachings were
organized by Bill Leavitt into the Berklee books, with Jack's
permission. As far as recording credentials, I don't know, I'd have to
ask one of the formar students. He did one Aebersold play-along, vol.
30, a rhythm section workout.
