Interesting.

I looked at the Leavitt books but found no mention of Jack Peterson
in the forward. That's too bad if it was Jacks material.

However in the intro to Micks book I see the following acknowledgment:

"Special thanks to my most important ""teachers""

John Laporta, Jack Peterson, Herb Pomeroy, Bill Leavitt,
Carl Shroeder, Abe Laboriel, Gary Burton, Steve Swallow,
Jeff Berlin, Jerry Bergonzi and Gary Chaffee".
