What do you guys think about this:
Couldn't we figure out a way of using a fantastic tool like the Standard
MIDI file to illustrate our musical discussions?
With fairly recent Operating systems is not indispensable to have a synth.
setup to read them.

Reed has mentioned his concern about copyright potential problems, but all
we are really doing is having a conversation among musicians.

All these discussions about reharmonization, soloing, bass lines, comping
etc.. could be taken to a different level.

I know is impolite to post files on a mailing list but any message
containing MIDI attachments could be prefixed with a 'MIDI warning".

Reed, would you consider having a 'MIDI bulletin board' on the Just
Jazz site?

Anyway, the potential is there.I just wanted to run this by you and see
if anybody thinks it makes any sense.
