Reed and everyone:

My book, Connecting Chords with Linear Harmony, Houston, Pub., is
distributed by Hal Leonard. It should be available from any music by
ordering from Hal Leonard.

There is a brief description of the book at the following sites:

http://www.music.sc.edu/Departments/Jazz/examples.html

This page has several handouts pertinant to jazz improvisation and theory.
Things like the 90 million bass lines and other hadouts are located there.
Most are available as .pdf files, some as text.

http://www.music.sc.edu/Departments/Jazz/book.html

This page has a brief description of the book, a sample table of contents,
and a list of artist whose examples of brilliance are included in the book.

Thanks for the opportunity to plug the book.
